In 2008, Sally Alshakarchi founded Bumble Bee Nursery with a vision to address the need for exceptional early years education in the residential area of Sharjah. Focused on providing a nurturing environment with qualified staff and comfortable conditions for children, Sally aimed to create a home away from home that would support working parents seeking high-quality care for their little ones.

Serving as the proud director and owner of both Bumble Bee Nursery and Honey Bee Nursery, Sally Alshakarchi, originally from Iraq, has called the UAE home for fourteen years. Despite her professional background as a computer engineer, Sally’s own experience as a mother ignited a passion for understanding and contributing to the development of children in their early years.

Initially driven by the desire to see children happily entering the nursery and not wanting to leave at pick-up time, Sally’s commitment deepened. Undertaking extensive research, she pursued a course that qualified her to comprehend and work with children’s holistic development, earning her CACHE level 3, a UK-based qualification in early years, in 2016. Driven by a commitment to continuous professional development, Sally also sought expertise in management in early years.

Sally’s steadfast belief in providing the highest quality of care led her to prioritize the recruitment of qualified and knowledgeable staff in both nurseries. The current team of practitioners reflects her vision, ensuring that every child receives the best possible care and education.
